From idea to plans to… well, not quite the result I had hoped for!
I made a hammock for our cats, with a sturdy frame made from MDF, beautifully rounded corners, and strong joints made using Festool Dominoes.
Everything was carefully designed and built with the comfort of our feline friends in mind.
Unfortunately, there was one small problem I hadn’t taken into account: the cats.
They simply didn’t care.
Despite all my efforts, the hammock was completely ignored. Not even a curious sniff. Apparently, in the world of cats, you can spend hours making something for them, only to discover that they have absolutely no interest in it.
So, this became a hammock that was never meant to be.
Still, it was a fun project to build — and perhaps one day the cats will change their minds!
