From idea to plans to the finished result.

I made a desk cabinet and matching shelves for Heidi using birch plywood, finished with a durable melamine lacquer.

The project started with sketches and detailed plans.

Followed by cutting all panels to their final dimensions.

For the shelf pin holes, I used a guide rail to ensure perfectly straight and consistent hole lines.

All joints were made with Festool Domino connectors, providing strong and precise connections while keeping the assembly clean and accurate.

After assembly, the cabinet and shelves were sanded and finished with several coats of melamine lacquer for a smooth and hard-wearing surface.

A satisfying project from the first idea to the final installation.

Carrying case for large pots.
The two vertical slats ensure that each pot stays in place. Made from MDF. The green watercolour paint has been sanded away in strategic places to create a more weathered look.
